    The role

    You’ll be a true co-founder and the operating partner across two tracks:

    • SMG Capital (fund/AMC): strategy, fundraising, deals, portfolio.
    • SMG Builder (studio): the β€œoperating system” for launching 100 startups/year.

    What you’ll do:

    Strategy & Scale

    • Set and refine the VC + Builder strategy: theses, sectors, geography, risk, capital stack.
    • Build and scale the end-to-end creation engine (ideation β†’ validation β†’ MVP β†’ pre-seed/seed), with playbooks and shared services.

    • Install OKRs and BI dashboards; ensure clean LP reporting and portfolio analytics.
    • Recruit and develop leads across Investment, Product, Growth, Legal/Compliance, and Finance.

    Portfolio & Growth

    • Build founder/idea funnel at scale; convert studio projects to pre-seed/seed and beyond.
    • Stand up a repeatable BD engine and partner programs; keep founder NPS high.

    What you’ll bring:

    • 7–12+ years in VC/PE/venture building/startup ops with closed rounds and real outcomes (exits or strong uprounds).
