Client is a top one in automotive sphere. He has a bunch of projects which are related with tools for testing/emulation of IVI part. Part team is in Detroit and part in Ukraine remote. Projects have parts starting from HW boards and completing with SW part.

• Responsibilities:

  Testing Balance: 70% Automation / 30% Manual testing split.
  Embedded automation: actively contribute and evolve existing automation framework (Python).
  Protocols: Hands-on experience with CAN, gRPC, and TCP.
  Embedded Systems: Expertise in hardware flashing and embedded environment interaction.
  OS: Linux knowledge and CLI proficiency.
  CICD: Experience with GitHub Action.
  Test Planning: Define the automation strategy for new features, ensuring high coverage for complex automotive use cases.
  Reporting & Analytics: Build reports to visualize test results, hardware stability metrics.

We're looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to help us deliver reliable, high-quality products in the cybersecurity field.  You'll own the automation layer for our cybersecurity platform: designing test frameworks from scratch, running performance and load tests, and building realistic environments that mirror production. This isn't a "write test scripts and call it a day" role - you'll be shaping QA strategy and working deep in the stack.

What you'll do:

• Build and scale API & backend automation frameworks for a complex security platform
• Automate testing for detection, protection, and response workflows
• Design end-to-end test environments using Kubernetes (K8s)
• Own performance, load, and stress testing
• Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines alongside dev and DevOps teams

• Help define QA best practices and mentor engineers as we grow

   

What you bring:

• 3+ years in API/backend automation testing
• Strong hands-on with Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Playwright, or similar
• Performance testing chops (JMeter, Locust, k6)
• Experience with Kubernetes for test environment orchestration
• Cybersecurity product testing experience is required 
• Go programming experience - big plus
• Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and GitOps familiarity is a bonus
