About the Role

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our growing product team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud-based energy management platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to test new features, identify issues, and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web-based applications and APIs
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects clearly and accurately
• Participate in feature reviews and requirement analysis
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and verify bug fixes
• Perform regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)

Requirements

• Understanding of QA fundamentals: SDLC, STLC, testing types, bug lifecycle
• Basic knowledge of web application testing
• Understanding of client-server architecture and REST APIs
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience testing SaaS or cloud-based products
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environment
• Experience working with large datasets
