Responsibilities

- Provide timely responses to inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, lead times, quality docs and basic tech questions;
- Build strong relationships with other CSR’s, Engineering, Quality and other functional departments;
- Work in CRM and ERP systems;
- Investigate, expedite, and resolve issues related to shipments, product quality, returns (RMA), and billing discrepancies;
- Escalate technical concerns to engineering or quality teams when necessary;
- Track and document customer issues for continuous improvement;
- Maintain an understanding of company product lines;
- Work closely with people in all appropriate departments to support customer needs;
- Participate in internal meetings;
- Data mining.

Description:
 

• 6+ years building server-side applications in JavaScript/TypeScript using Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or Express 

(50-50% backend/frontend depending on the project, but strong orientation toward backend experience)

• 4+ years building user-facing features with React, including component-driven development and front-end architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar), including schema design and performance considerations
• Feature ownership experience: independently driving projects from early design through delivery, rollout, and post-launch improvements - proactive, strong communicator
• Fluency in English and experience working in a remote setting
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, service boundaries, and integration patterns in a microservices environment
• Experience with state management (Zustand preferred) and building maintainable, testable UI flows
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows effectively, with the ability to critically evaluate outputs
• Events infrastructure background: hands-on experience with event-driven systems and messaging (for example, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kafka), including reliability patterns like retries, dead-lettering, ordering considerations, and idempotency - major plus

Role Overview

We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to build and lead Strix Air’s global marketing, communications, and brand strategy.

You will work directly with the founders to position the company among defense customers, military organizations, government stakeholders, international partners, investors, and media.

This role combines strategic positioning, communications, defense industry visibility, and international business support.

Responsibilities

Strategic Positioning

• Define and evolve Strix Air’s global positioning.
• Build category leadership in drone defense and counter-UAS systems.
• Develop messaging across products, technologies, and company vision.

Communications & Brand

• Lead company communications and content strategy.
• Create presentations, brochures, white papers, videos, and product materials.
• Manage website, social media, PR, and media relations.
• Support product launches and strategic announcements.

International Partnerships & Business Support

• Prepare materials for defense customers, government organizations, NATO-related stakeholders, and strategic partners.
• Support participation in international exhibitions, conferences, and defense events.
• Help build Strix Air’s visibility within the global defense ecosystem.

Public Relations

• Build relationships with defense media and industry analysts.
• Coordinate interviews, press releases, and public communications.
• Develop thought leadership around modern drone warfare and air defense.

Requirements

Must Have

• Strong experience in strategic marketing, communications, branding, or business development.

• Ability to explain complex technologies clearly and convincingly.
