Finance manager

BENAUR LLC is an international company that creates and operates offline entertainment projects across the U.S. and Europe, including museums in Chicago, Los Angeles, and St. Augustine (Florida). We are looking for a Finance Manager to run the company's accounting, take ownership of budgeting and cash flow planning, and work directly with the owner and our external CPA.

This is a fully remote position. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for the U.S. company and maintain bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
• Process and manage invoices, payments, and accounting documentation
• Prepare financial reports, including P&L and cash flow statements
• Develop and maintain budgets; monitor expenses, track plan vs. actual, and explain variances
• Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and plan liquidity across entities
• Support financial planning: provide analysis and scenarios for new projects and owner decisions
• Prepare management reporting across multiple entities within the group and present results directly to the owner
• Coordinate with the external CPA, tax consultants, and auditors on tax reporting

• Review, improve, and automate accounting and reporting workflows

   

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Finance Manager, Accountant, or Chief Accountant
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow forecasting
• Practical experience with QuickBooks Online, including bank feeds, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and multi-sheet data management
• English at B2 level or higher, written and spoken: confident enough to hold calls and discuss financial topics with the CPA and other U.S. counterparties
• Basic understanding of U.S. accounting and taxation, including LLC / S-Corporation structures
• Experience working with a U.S. CPA: preparing data and documents for tax filings and handling their requests
• Experience with Ukrainian FOP accounting (Group 2 and 3 simplified taxation preferred)
• Experience in management accounting, including reporting for multiple entities
• Experience working directly with a business owner in a privately owned company; ability to present financial results and explain the numbers clearly
• Practical use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to automate routine accounting and reporting tasks, and willingness to build such automations
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and work independently in a remote team

Nice to Have

• Experience with international tax planning (EU, U.S.) and structuring of international business operations
