About the Team:
Small, distributed team based in Moldova, working fully remote. No bureaucracy. You'll work directly with the founder and development team.

The Role:
We're looking for an experienced QA Engineer to own quality across  Retently app. This is primarily a manual testing role, but with a twist, we want someone genuinely excited about using AI tools (mainly Claude Code, ) to work smarter and faster. We'll provide all the subscriptions and tools you need. You'll be testing web applications now, with mobile (iOS) testing coming as we build out mobile apps for both products.

What you'll do:
- Own manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and releases across Retently 
- Design and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test suites - Perform exploratory testing to catch edge cases, regressions, and usability issues 
- Test across browsers and devices (web now, mobile coming soon) 
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce, document, and verify bug fixes 
- Use AI tools to accelerate your workflow, generating test cases, analyzing requirements, writing documentation, automating repetitive tasks 
- Define and improve QA processes, testing standards, and release checklists 
- Participate in feature discussions and provide quality-focused input early in development 
- Identify areas where test automation would bring the most value

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in manual QA testing of web applications 
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies (test design techniques, risk-based testing, regression strategies) 
- Experience writing well-structured test plans and detailed bug reports - Familiarity with API testing (Postman or similar) 
- Comfortable with browser dev tools for debugging and network inspection 
- Experience testing complex SaaS or B2B web applications 
- Strong English communication skills (written, for documentation and team collaboration) 
- Self-driven, able to own QA end-to-end without hand-holding

About the Role

Koyfin has achieved strong product market fit and profitable growth. The next phase is about deepening our relationships with financial advisors and wealth management professionals — and delivering a support experience that matches the quality of our product.

As a Client Operation Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our users, helping them get the most out of the Koyfin platform. This role sits at the intersection of support, customer success, and product feedback - you will resolve issues, guide clients through complex workflows, drive product adoption, and surface insights that directly shape how we improve.

This is a role for someone who is empathetic, proactive, and takes genuine ownership of the user experience - not just closing tickets, but making sure customers succeed.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Customer Support

• Provide empathetic, timely support across email, help center, video, and calls  resolving issues with care and professionalism
• Report bugs, and partner with Product and Engineering to drive resolutions, Troubleshoot issues
• Share customer insights and recurring feedback with the team to continuously improve the user experience
• Identify patterns in support requests and proactively suggest process or product improvements
• Propose and implement AI tools to automate and scale customer support, Update AI Chatbot
• Take on ad hoc tasks related to customer success, client relationships, and broader company growth as needed

Customer Success

• Help with the onboarding experience for new users and advisor clients, ensuring they reach value quickly and confidently
• Proactively check in with key accounts to understand how they're using the platform and where they may be stuck
• Drive product adoption by educating users on features and workflows relevant to their specific use case
• Gather and document customer feedback, use cases, and success stories to inform product direction

Sales Operations

• Manage subscriptions, upgrades, renewals, and account transfers in collaboration with Sales
• Prepare and send invoices, follow up on payments, and handle contracts for enterprise accounts
• Schedule and lead product demos and training sessions for clients

What We’re Looking For

You are a support professional who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and genuinely cares about the user experience.

• 3+ years of customer support or customer success experience at a SaaS or tech product company
• Hands-on experience with CS tools
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams - QA, Sales, and Engineering
• Fluent English communication, written and verbal
• Strong product mindset - you understand what you're supporting and can explain it clearly
• Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills with a strong eye for detail
• Proactive about identifying issues and opportunities before they escalate
• Honest, direct, and collaborative 
• Fast learner who picks up new tools, workflows, and domain knowledge quickly

— Customer feedback loop: Structured system connecting Sales, Merchant Ops, and Integration insights directly into product discovery and planning

— Product context from the field: Translating sales demos and merchant interactions into actionable product intelligence (what works, customer expectations, objections)

— Scalable processes: Clear frameworks for product involvement in custom solutions, demos, and merchant initiatives — replacing ad-hoc coordination with repeatable systems

— Feature rollout: Controlled deployment of new features to existing customers, including timing, communication, feedback collection, and iteration

— Team management & development: Design & Tech Writing teams

— Proven experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Product UX, or Product Design Operations, driving complex initiatives from idea to impact.
— Experience working closely with product designers, UX, and product managers — not only with engineering teams
— Strong product mindset and customer obsession — ability to connect product decisions with real customer and commercial context
— A track record of building, improving, or scaling product processes that actually work — and keep working as teams grow
— Hands-on people leadership experience, supporting teams, setting clear expectations, and raising the bar
— Strong command of planning, discovery, and delivery, with confidence in:

— prioritisation and roadmap governance
— capacity planning and SLAs
— product and delivery metrics (velocity, predictability, quality)

— Fluency with modern product tools: Jira, Confluence or Notion, Figma, and analytics platforms
— A data-driven mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to turn complexity into clarity
