    This role is focused on writing high converting email copy for US-based ecommerce brands. You will work closely with an email marketing manager, designer, and Klaviyo technician. The position is full time, remote, long term, and offers growth into more strategic and senior roles over time. This is NOT SEO copywriting or technical writing. The role requires marketing thinking, creativity, and conversion focus.

     

    ABOUT US

    Bossar is an eCommerce email and SMS marketing agency operating since 2021, focused exclusively on retention marketing. We work with established US based eCommerce brands, primarily in the 6 to 8 figure revenue range. To date, we have partnered with over 100 online stores and driven more than $75M in revenue through email and SMS.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Email copywriting: Write email copy for campaigns and automated flows including subject lines, preview text, body copy, and CTAs. Copy must be clear, persuasive, and aligned with brand voice.
    • Campaigns: Write promotional and content based campaign emails. Sales, launches, flash sales, holidays, announcements, restocks, low stock, and educational emails.
    • Flows: Write copy for core ecommerce flows such as welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post purchase, upsell, cross sell, review request, winback, and others.
    • Conversion focus: Apply direct response and ecommerce marketing principles. Write copy designed to drive clicks, conversions, and revenue, not just sound good.
    • Brand adaptation: Quickly understand and adapt to different brand voices, tones, and customer personas. Maintain consistency across all emails for a brand.
    • Revisions: Make copy edits based on internal feedback, performance insights, or client requests. Iterate fast.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the email marketing manager and designer. Align copy with campaign strategy, layout, and offer structure.

     

    KPIs

    • Output: Write copy for multiple brands daily. Ability to handle relatively high volume without quality loss.
    • Quality: Copy must be creative, persuasive, engaging, and conversion driven. Strong hooks, clear angles, and compelling CTAs.
    • Revisions: Respond to revisions / requests changes within 2 hours.
    • Communication: Respond to messages within 15 mins during work hours. Stay reachable for occasional urgent issues after work hours (do not go silent after 18:00). 

     

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Email marketing experience: Proven experience writing emails for eCommerce brands. Understanding of campaigns, flows, and behavioural marketing.
    • Marketing mindset: Strong grasp of direct response, persuasion, and conversion optimization basics. Understands why emails convert, not just how to write them.
    • English level: Advanced or near native written English with strong cultural fluency. Able to write copy that sounds natural to US audiences, using appropriate tone, slang, idioms, and expressions so emails feel written by a native marketer, not translated or generic ChatGPT bs.
    • Creativity: Ability to generate fresh angles, hooks, subject lines, and CTAs. Avoid generic or boring copy.
    • Performance-driven thinking: Uses data and insights to guide creativity and improve conversions, not just repeat templates or safe formulas.
    • Attention to detail: Notices inconsistencies in offers, pricing, tone, and logic. Double checks details before submission.
    • Speed and discipline: Can write fast while maintaining quality. Comfortable with daily deadlines and structured workflows.
    • AI and ChatGPT proficiency: Advanced user of ChatGPT as a professional work tool. Strong prompting skills. Able to guide, refine, and iterate outputs.

     

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

    • Availability: Available to work Kyiv time, 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday-Friday).
    • Technical setup: Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and proper working setup (backup power source for locations with frequent power outages).
    • Long term commitment: Willing to learn and committed to long term cooperation.

    TRIAL PERIOD

    The role includes a 30 day paid trial period. This period is used to see how we work together and to help the candidate understand our standards, required speed, and daily responsibilities. If the trial is successfully completed, it is paid at 100% of the agreed salary. If it is not completed successfully, it is paid at 50%. We actively support candidates during the trial and are interested in you completing it successfully.

    Project

    This is a high-scale SaaS product where the mobile application is a key part of the ecosystem: a user-facing interface that operates under real load, integrates with backend services, and requires stability, speed, and predictable release delivery.

    In this role, it’s important not only to “build UI,” but also to understand how technical decisions impact performance, reliability, integrations, and operational support.

     

    What you’ll do

    - Develop and maintain a React Native mobile application (UI, architecture, quality, performance).

    - Improve the stability and scalability of the mobile solution within a SaaS platform.

    - Collaborate with backend and infrastructure components: understand integrations, APIs, caching, search, and asynchronous processes.

    - Participate in solution design with the team (architecture discussions, technical trade-offs, best practices).

    - Help improve delivery processes: CI/CD, release quality, observability, and overall engineering discipline.

     

    What we expect

    - Strong experience with React Native and UI development (components, state management, navigation, optimization).

    - Broad technical background and a full-stack mindset: understanding how mobile applications operate in production and interact with the platform.

    - Understanding or hands-on experience with some of the following technologies:
