• Research, design, and prototype behavioral, risk, and toxicity-scoring models for client and partner-flow segmentation
• Build backtesting and monitoring frameworks to validate models, signals, and hypotheses across data of varying granularity
• Detect early risk signals, anomalies, and regime shifts in market and client behavior, including probability of critical capital loss
• Develop explainable risk signals and labels for the R&D team, and long-term client value/risk models with forecasting
• Conduct research and hypothesis-testing on client economics, flow quality, and model performance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist  
• Exceptional knowledge of probability theory, statistics, time-series analysis, and financial mathematics
• Advanced proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels) for data analysis, modeling, and backtesting
• Solid experience with Machine Learning
• SQL skills and experience working with large-scale historical market data (tick data, order logs)
• Strong logical thinking, initiative, and well-developed communication skills

What you'll own 
- Daily operational rhythm across 7 Shopify stores in 7 countries. 
- Call center relationships  —  quality audits, confirmation and delivery rate improvement.
- Logistics partners and 3PLs per country — carriers, warehouses, returns management.
- End-to-end hiring for the operational team (3-5 hires in the next 12 months).
- SOP documentation for every repeatable process.
- Weekly reporting to founders with insights and 2-3 key decisions to escalate.
- Product management of the internal CRM and dashboard system. 

Must have 
- 3+ years in operations, senior PM (e-commerce/marketplace/DTC), or GM role. 
- Proven experience building remote teams from zero (not just "managed teams" — actually hired and onboarded them).
- English C1+ (written and spoken) if have Spanish will be a plus. 
- Multi-country or multi-market operational background.
- E-commerce industry background in-house (not agency). 
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building systems. 

Nice to have 
- Direct Shopify hands-on experience.
- COD (cash on delivery) business model familiarity.

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer (AWS Serverless) to join the team supporting a well-established UK-based e-commerce retailer operating across the US, UK, and APAC markets under 16+ partner brands. 

The client runs a high-volume, subscription-driven commerce platform with complex multi-market business logic and is currently midway through a major platform modernisation initiative — transitioning from a legacy monolithic system to a modern MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless). As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to building scalable cloud-native services and modern backend solutions using Node.js and AWS Serverless technologies, helping drive the next generation of the client’s global commerce platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build AWS Lambda microservices (Node.js/TypeScript) behind API Gateway, integrated with Commerce Tools and D365.
• Design and optimise DynamoDB data models and access patterns for high-throughput e-commerce.
