Role overview:

We're hiring our first Customer Support Generalist to own the front line of customer interactions across our platform. This is a new role, which means you'll help define what great support looks like at CUCollaborate as we scale.

You'll be the first person customers reach when they're stuck, confused, or locked out. You'll manage our Crisp chat support, triage incoming calls, troubleshoot platform issues, help with onboarding workflows, and support data uploads.

Important Note: Candidates must demonstrate prior knowledge of CUCollaborate’s platform, tools, and services, and are expected to research and familiarize themselves with the organization before applying.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Crisp chat support: respond to customer questions, troubleshoot issues, escalate when needed.
• Triage incoming support calls and route them appropriately.
• Handle password resets, account lockouts, and other access issues.
• Support customer onboarding workflows and data uploads.
• Follow clear escalation paths for known issues; escalate anything new or unmapped to Rev Ops.

Requirements:

This is a junior role — we're targeting someone right out of college or early in their career. You don't need technical depth or credit union experience. What you do need:

• Availability to work during US Eastern Time business hours from 9AM to 5PM (mandatory).

• Monitor system performance by conducting load, stress, and scalability testing
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG

Documentation

• Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, results, and feedback
• Update project management tools with relevant information
• Create and maintain test infrastructure (test plans, test cases, scenarios, etc.)
• Write project documentation and user guides
• Contribute to QA documentation at the company level
   

Improvement and Reporting

• Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on usability and functionality
• Report on testing progress and results to stakeholders
• Communicate critical issues promptly
   

Requirements

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in QA testing of websites and web applications
• Proven experience in developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
• Experience in testing projects based on Drupal
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
   

Technical Proficiency

• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Familiarity with test management systems such as TestRail, Xray, or Qase
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-browser testing
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
   

Continuous Learning

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Experience in reporting, prioritizing, and managing defects through resolution
• Proficiency in documenting testing phases and defects
• Ability to evaluate user interactions and ensure the final product meets customer needs
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress or similar)
• Experience with Google Analytics
