We’re Umber - a small hands-ond development team working with fintech systems and complex business platforms. We’re opening aremote Manual QA Engineer role to join our team and support two web products that are currently in active development.

About the role and projects

You’ll work across two web products for a long-term client, both currently in active development. 

One of them is a web platform for crypto traders, focused on trading logic, competitions, and internal product flows. The second one is a business platform at the intersection of ATS, HRM, and job boards, built to manage people, roles, workflows, and payouts at scale.

Until now, quality has mostly been covered by engineers. We’re now looking for a dedicated QA to bring more consistency into the process: clearer test coverage, structured checklists, and predictable regression before releases. 

The role focuses on day-to-day quality assurance: testing new features and business logic, exploring edge cases, and maintaining lightweight QA documentation.

How You’ll Contribute

• Validate core flows and calculations (amounts, balances, reporting consistency)
• Design and maintain clear test cases, checklists, and regression coverage
• Run smoke and regression checks before releases
• Log and track issues in ClickUp, following them through to resolution
• Work closely with PM and engineers to clarify requirements and keep QA documentation up to date

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and support client-facing projects with stable, production-ready infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining existing systems, improving deployment reliability, and supporting development teams in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
You will support and maintain AWS-based infrastructure environments across the project. You will build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ensure stable application delivery across development, staging, and production environments.

Requirements:

• Practical experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
• Experience supporting Java (Spring Boot) and React-based applications
• Understanding of Maven build lifecycle and CI integration
• Experience with RabbitMQ or AWS SQS
• Operational experience with PostgreSQL (reliability, backups, basic troubleshooting)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana; Datadog is a plus)
• Experience handling production incidents and participating in post-mortem analysis
• Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
• Understanding and practical application of zero-downtime deployment principles
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers)

Nice to have:

• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform)
• Experience with ECS or Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with blue-green or rolling deployment strategies

This role is a great opportunity for candidates without deep prior experience — we provide onboarding, guidance, and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Search for potential affiliate partners using various online channels:
  • Telegram (chats, channels, direct messages)
  • Niche websites, forums, and online communities
  • LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Make first contact with potential partners and introduce our platform and cooperation terms
• Assist with partner registration on the platform
• Create Telegram groups with partners and internal managers for smooth handover
• Keep basic records of sourced partners (statuses, sources, notes)
• Communicate with the team to support a smooth partner onboarding process

Requirements

• Interest in affiliate marketing, iGaming, or Dating verticals
• Confident use of Telegram and basic experience with LinkedIn
• Good written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop in partner acquisition
