What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer with a strong embedded systems background who can operate comfortably across customer-facing technical sales, technical communications, and hands-on engineering support.

This role is ideal for someone who can bridge engineering depth with clear customer communication and help articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you’ll do:

• Support pre-sales technical engagements with customers and partners
• Answer technical customer questions during evaluations, procurement, and integration discussions
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical recommendations and solutions
• Develop technical materials and written responses for proposals, grant applications, customer documentation, and partner communications
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to accurately communicate product capabilities and limitations
• Assist with hardware setup, integration, and field support when needed
• Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions

What we need:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or FAE role
• Strong embedded systems background, including firmware/hardware integration
• Comfortable working with PCB hardware, embedded devices, and drone systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely
• Confident, extroverted, and comfortable interacting directly with customers and partners
• Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to contribute to proposals, grant applications, and customer-facing technical documentation
• Practical, hands-on mindset; effective in both lab and field environments

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with drones, robotics, RF systems, or edge AI platforms
• Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems
• Experience supporting enterprise, defense, or government customers
• Exposure to wireless communications, telemetry, or autonomous systems
• Experience contributing to technical proposals, SBIRs, grants, or RFP responses

Working Model & Travel:

For this role, close collaboration with engineering, product, and integration teams is essential.

Travel is a significant part of the role. Candidates should expect up to ~50% travel

 Strategic Creative Production

• Create high-performing ads—leading the entire process from concept to final delivery.
• Collaborate closely with motion and graphic designers on concepting, execution, and iteration.
• Own key creative KPIs, including ROAS, CPA, success rate, and profit per creative.
• Analyze competitors with spy tools and translate findings into testable ad angles.

 Required Hard Skills

• 1+ years in a creative production role within a performance marketing environment.
• Strong background in ideating creatives for Meta, TikTok, and other performance platforms.
• Proven experience producing high-performing video ads with $50k/creative spend for Meta (Facebook/IG).
• Confident working with spy tools to reverse-engineer competitor strategies.
• Fluent in creative compliance policy for health & fitness ads on Meta.
• B1+ level English (work in English daily).
• Experience launching new products/flows/brunches from scratch and scaling them to $100k+/month would be a huge plus.
