IT Support Specialist
We are looking for a proactive and motivated IT Support Specialist, who will work in a fast-paced environment of a growing DefTech company. This role keeps people working, systems documented, and IT operations efficient by covering the essential first-line tasks that allow the rest of the IT team to focus on scalability, automation, and infrastructure stability.
Main requirements:
- Experience working with Windows 11 and macOS (installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting).
- Understanding of Active Directory principles: user account creation/deactivation, security groups, access policies.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Azure AD.
- Experience with VPN clients.
- Knowledge of configuring and maintaining network printers, drivers, and print queues.
- Ability to install and maintain user hardware (laptops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals).
- Basic diagnostic skills for hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of asset management processes: inventory, asset tracking, database maintenance.
- Basic understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
- Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Attention to detail, responsibility, and reliability.
- English level: Intermediate or higher โ ability to communicate with users and read technical documentation.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of onboarding/offboarding processes for employees.
- Experience with Intune / MDM or similar device management systems is a plus.
