Role Overview
You sit between the business (Product Owner, stakeholders) and the engineering team.
About 30% of your time is practical data work: validating that CDP capabilities behave as specified, exploring data before specs are written, testing hypotheses for new capabilities, building shared gold layer models that consumer teams use, and helping those teams understand what data is available. It is not business reporting or analytics built for individual brands.

The other 70% is Systems Analysis: turning what you find into specs engineers can build from, owning data quality from symptom to root cause, raising what isn’t right before it ships, and shaping the semantic layer so other business lines can find and trust the data.

Four things define the systems analysis side:

1. Turn business intent into specs that engineers can build from. Talk to stakeholders, figure out what they actually need, and write it down. Each spec covers source schema, target model, transformation logic, business glossary, schedule, data quality checks, consumer, and use case. Stay reachable through development. Engineers will have questions.
2. Find and fix data quality problems at the root, alongside the engineering function. Trace lineage, identify the cause, work with the data source owner on the fix, check downstream impact, and close the loop.
3. Confirm what’s delivered does what we said it would. Validate against the spec you wrote. When the data isn’t right, you raise it before it ships.
4. Make data usable beyond the team that asked for it. Contribute to the semantic layer, data descriptions, and shared definitions so other business lines can find what they need, understand what it means, and trust it without going through you each time.

You work on the Data Platform layer: CDP build, identity resolution, data quality, semantic definitions, and governance. Business analytics on top of the platform, such as dashboards and performance reports for specific brands, is produced by analyst teams aligned to those brands. Your job is to make sure those teams can do theirs: trustworthy data, clear definitions, fast issue resolution.

The team
You sit within the Data Platform alongside:

• A Product Owner who sets the roadmap and business priorities.
• The Data Engineering function. Your manager (Data Engineering Lead) and the engineers building the platform.
• Embedded QA function. Owns automated validation.
• Shared DevOps across the wider organisation.

Where you’ll start
Identity resolution. Deterministic matching is already running in our MDM across five data sources. You extend coverage to the remaining sources and validate match quality at scale. The harder cases are future scope: hashed identifiers without keys, duplicates across sources, device and behaviour signals. They start when we add dedicated ML engineering capacity, with no committed timeline yet. You’ll own the spec and acceptance for that work when it begins.

Main responsibilities

• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
• Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear and compelling product positioning that differentiates our offerings in the market. Craft messaging that resonates with target audiences across various channels.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute product launches, including developing marketing materials, coordinating with the product team, and driving awareness through various channels.
• Content Creation: Produce engaging product-related content, including blog posts, case studies, videos, and other collateral.
• Customer Advocacy: Work closely with the support team to gather feedback, identify testimonials, and develop case studies that highlight the value of our products.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, developers teams, and other stakeholders to align marketing efforts with product development and business goals.

Main requirements

• Work experience in a relevant position for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of the basics of marketing, AI SEO optimization.
• English level from B2.
• Experience using AI tools for work
• Experience with Google Analytics.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Technical Application Support Engineer to provide backup coverage for our platform and related audience workflows. This is NOT a primary feature development role. 

The person will act as a technical backup and first responder when the Europe-based team is unavailable, helping India and US teams investigate issues, validate system behavior, check logs, inspect API/database state, and escalate with clear technical context when deeper engineering work is required.

Time Overlap (!): 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide backup technical support for internal API and related workflows
• Investigate production and staging issues using API responses, logs, metrics, Kafka state, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Understand and trace the core system flow related to external platform integrations
• Investigate why entities failed to create/update, synchronize, or retrieve reports correctly
• Troubleshoot platform-specific issues (Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Validate common token/auth issues including expired user tokens, missing permissions, and platform account
mapping problems
• Use Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, Kafka metrics, and database queries to support investigations
• Follow runbooks for safe operational checks and simple remediation steps
• Document findings clearly and escalate with enough context for engineering teams to act quickly
• Work closely with teams in India, Europe, and the US

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years in application support, production support, technical operations, backend QA, SRE-lite, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP status codes, and backend request flows
• Hands-on experience reading logs and investigating production issues
• Practical experience with MongoDB and SQL/PostgreSQL for read-only investigation
• Basic working knowledge of Kafka or event-driven systems
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based applications at support level
• Ability to use dashboards and observability tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with clear written communication in English
• Ability to work with distributed teams across India, Europe, and the US

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
◆ Experience supporting Scala, Java, or JVM backend systems
◆ Familiarity with Apache Pekko or Akka HTTP / Streams

◆ Experience with advertising platforms or marketing APIs
◆ Familiarity with OAuth, refresh tokens, access tokens, system users, and platform permissions
◆ Basic understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments
◆ Experience creating support runbooks and incident summaries

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
After onboarding, this person should be able to:
• Understand the platform request/event flow end-to-end
• Check whether a problem is in API validation, Kafka processing, event handling, MongoDB/PostgreSQL state, external
platform API, or something else
• Identify common platform integration differences
• Answer basic "what happened?" questions without waking up the European owner
• Escalate only when deeper engineering changes or platform-specific decisions are needed
• Maintain useful troubleshooting documentation for repeated issues

• Проєктувати user flows та валідовувати гіпотези

• Пріоритизувати функціональність і формувати backlog продукту

• Формувати чіткі user stories, acceptance criteria та Definition of Done для команди delivery

• Визначати метрики успіху фіч і аналізувати їхній вплив після запуску

Буде плюсом:

• Розуміння бухгалтерського та податкового законодавства України

• Досвід моделювання процесів та створення схем (BPMN, UML, user flow diagrams або інші нотації)
