Project: a VAT recovery system designed for clients in European countries, aimed at automating the routine tasks typically handled by VAT specialists. The client team is based in Braga, Portugal.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development team and establish technical processes
- Contribute to the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Ensure proper technical implementation of product requirements and specifications
- Ensure the development progress is within the specified time and scope
- Provide high-quality app design with proper design patterns, well-structured, modular, performant application code
- Oversee the best implementation of selected architecture
- Establish proper technical processes, including code reviews, test coverage, and CI/CD
- Serve as a technical mentor in the development
- Run and actively participate in Agile processes and events
- Share new ideas, techniques, and methodologies
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of commercial experience as a PHP/Laravel developer
- Technical leadership experience is a must
- At least upper-intermediate English level
- Solid knowledge and experience with PHP and the Laravel framework
- Confident knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles
- Experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Experience working with YAML and XML documents and files

As one of our first dedicated Sales Development Representatives, you will be the crucial bridge between our innovative product and the dealerships that need it. You'll be prospecting, engaging, and qualifying leads, setting the stage for our Account Executives to close deals. What You'll Do:
Outbound Outreach & Engagement (The "Reach"):
Multi-Channel Outreach: Contact prospects through a combination of:
Cold Email: Crafting short, compelling, value-driven emails.
Cold Calling: Picking up the phone to have direct conversations (still a critical skill).
Follow-Up Sequences: Persistently but professionally follow up (6-12+ touches) and finally try to book them an appointment with the AE
What We're Looking For:
- +1 Year of outbound sales or SDR experience (SaaS/tech preferred, but hungry candidates from any industry are encouraged).
- A track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. You're motivated by results and uncapped commission.
