Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field / Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or another related technical field

Min years of experience: 4+
Java 8+ (preferably Java 11)
SpringBoot
REST
Synchronous/Asynchronous messaging and Message Bus concept: ActiveMQ, Kinesis, Kafka
Microservices, distributed systems, versioning
CI/CD
Maven or Gradle
Production Data Migration

Responsibilities

The Backend Development Engineer (Java) translates business needs into technical application design. This role is responsible for planning, estimating, and developing product interfaces in an agile environment in alignment with the product owners. The Backend Development Engineer actively partners with the client’s product/solution owners to translate jointly defined unit tests into working, scalable customer solutions. Moreover, this role defines quality assurance processes in close cooperation with QA team and supports the developed solutions throughout the life cycle of the application – contributing to the development of standards, guidelines, & best practices. This position is responsible for leading the technical delivery of software, matching the needs of the target customer base.
