CTO / Head of Engineering - Cyber Security AI Platform

We are looking for a Head of Engineering / CTO with strong engineering experience, product vision, and practical AI expertise to join our client’s team and lead the technical development of their in-production cybersecurity platform.

• Fast Product Experimentation. You connect technology to business metrics. You know how to quickly test hypotheses, roll out lean features to real users, measure impact, and iterate fast.
• Applied AI Engineering. You have practical experience building production features with LLMs, AI agents, and automation—balancing output quality, latency, token unit economics, and strict data privacy.
• System & Stack Proficiency. Solid background in JS/TS, Python, modern databases, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations (M365, Google Workspace, SSO/SCIM). You know when to build custom solutions vs. use ready-made services or low-code.
• Security & Enterprise Trust. Selling a cybersecurity product requires a rock-solid platform. You understand multi-tenant data isolation, Zero-Trust principles, and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, EU AI Act).
• Broad Ownership. In a lean team, you wear multiple hats—comfortably switching between system architecture, DevOps/cloud costs, enterprise security calls with clients, and day-to-day delivery.

• Velocity & Agentic Workflows: Maintaining an AI-first engineering process that maximizes the speed and quality of our lean team.
• Product Experiments & AI Features: Building and testing new AI-driven simulations, coaching workflows, and risk analytics to drive revenue growth.
• Architecture & Reliability: Keeping our production platform secure, scalable, and cost-efficient as our customer base grows.
• Business & Enterprise Support: Partnering with founders on product strategy, roadmap, and technical due diligence with enterprise customers.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Cybersecurity, B2B SaaS, or EdTech / Security Awareness.
• Track record of scaling a post-revenue product with a small team.
• Experience passing SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits or enterprise CISO security reviews.
• Your own founder or startup background.
