Junior Community Manager
We’re looking for a Junior Community Manager to help more people recognise and understand Payop through relevant online conversations.
The main goal of this role is to grow Payop’s brand awareness among people who make online payments – from online shoppers to gamers and users of digital services – while also supporting our Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategy.
This isn’t about promoting Payop in every relevant thread or trying to turn community conversations into sales opportunities. We’re looking for someone who can become a genuine part of online communities, understand what people are talking about, and contribute when Payop or our expertise is relevant.
Requirements
Strong/advanced written English.
A genuine interest in video games and gaming culture – you understand how gamers communicate and feel comfortable joining gaming-related discussions.
An understanding of the ins and outs of online communities and how people communicate on platforms like Reddit.
The ability to write naturally and avoid overly promotional or corporate language.
Good research skills and curiosity about unfamiliar topics.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow guidelines.
Willingness to learn about payments, GEO, and AI search.
You’ll be responsible for building Payop’s presence across third-party communities and platforms, including Reddit, Quora, niche forums, gaming communities, and other relevant spaces.
Your main tasks will include:
Finding relevant communities and discussions across Reddit, Quora, Discord, forums, and other platforms.
Creating, maintaining, and gradually developing several community profiles, building their credibility through consistent and genuine participation in discussions.
Joining conversations and answering questions about online payments, shopping, gaming, and digital services.
Mentioning Payop naturally when it’s relevant to the discussion.
Monitoring mentions of Payop and relevant payment topics.
Keeping track of community activity, mentions, and engagement.
Spotting recurring questions and interesting discussions that could be useful for our content and GEO strategy.
Following community rules and adapting communication to each platform's tone.
Working with the Marketing team, which will provide priority topics and guidance.
- Previous experience with community management, Reddit, gaming communities, fintech or GEO is a plus, but not required.
- Team-oriented and encouraging work environment.
- Career development opportunity.
- Paid vacation & sick leaves.
- Corporate English classes.
- Paying taxes and conducting private entrepreneurs.
- Internal Referral program.
- Remote-based work.
- CV screening → Interview with Recruitment Specialist → Test Task → Interview with Hiring Manager → Job Offer.
