Senior Generative AI Visual Designer - Real Estate and Architecture
Strong preference for experience in Commercial Real Estate, Architecture, Development, and Branding.
We’re looking for a Senior Generative AI Visual Designer who combines strong design taste with real, hands-on experience in AI image and video production.
This is not a Prompt Engineer position.
You need to know how to prompt, but more importantly, you need to know how to control AI, build reliable workflows, work within detailed guidelines, and get to a polished final product.
A large part of this role will focus on commercial real estate and architecture. You’ll work with property photography, drone and aerial imagery, architectural concepts, site plans, renderings, brand standards, and project-specific requirements.
We need someone who can use AI without letting AI take over the work.
If a building needs to stay the same, it stays the same. If the parking lot, roads, signage, property layout, or surrounding area cannot change, you need to know how to control for that.
At the same time, we want someone with a strong creative point of view. The goal is not just accuracy. The work needs to look great.
What You’ll Do
- Create high-end visual work across commercial real estate, architecture, branding, digital, social, advertising, web, presentations, and marketing campaigns.
- Generate and manipulate photorealistic architectural and commercial real estate imagery using AI.
- Work with real drone and aerial photography, including enhancing existing drone images and creating realistic aerial property visuals.
- Take existing property photography, renderings, site information, and reference imagery and turn them into polished marketing assets.
- Create AI-generated and AI-assisted video using property imagery, architectural concepts, still images, and other source material.
- Create controlled camera movement, environmental motion, transitions, and other effects while keeping buildings and important property details consistent.
- Build repeatable AI workflows instead of relying on one-off prompts and endless trial and error.
- Take company handbooks, client brand guidelines, property requirements, and project rules and translate them into workflows that AI can consistently follow.
- Catch and correct AI mistakes, hallucinations, distortions, and inconsistencies before anything goes out the door.
- Know when prompting is enough and when you need to use masks, reference images, image-to-image workflows, compositing, Photoshop, 3D tools, or another approach to get the right result.
- Switch between client brands while maintaining each brand’s individual look and feel.
- Design ad creative for Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and other digital channels.
- Design lead-generation assets including ebooks, guides, one-pagers, reports, and presentations.
- Create pitch decks and other presentation materials that feel polished and considered.
- Source, generate, and art-direct imagery that feels editorial and specific rather than generic stock.
- Deliver organized, production-ready files and hit deadlines consistently.
AI Image and Video
You should be very comfortable working with modern AI image and video tools.
Advanced Runway experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with tools and workflows such as FLUX, Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Generative Fill, or similar platforms is a plus.
For video, you should understand image-to-video workflows, camera movement, motion control, scene consistency, architectural consistency, transitions, scene extension, and how to turn still property imagery into believable motion.
We’re not tied to one AI platform. Tools change quickly.
What matters is that you understand how to get the result, how to control the process, and how to know when the output is wrong.
Real Estate and Architecture
Experience in commercial real estate, architecture, architectural visualization, real estate development, or property marketing is a major plus.
You should be able to look at a generated image and immediately notice when something is off.
That could be a changed roofline, an extra entrance, incorrect signage, a distorted parking lot, a road that moved, bad perspective, unrealistic landscaping, or a neighboring building that AI decided to invent.
You need to understand what can be creatively changed and what needs to stay accurate.
This is especially important when working with drone and aerial imagery.
Working Within Rules
A big part of this job is getting AI to follow instructions consistently.
You may be given detailed company handbooks, brand standards, property-specific requirements, and project rules.
We don’t want someone who simply uploads those instructions, writes a long prompt, and hopes the AI follows them.
You should know how to break requirements into clear rules, build them into your workflow, use the right references and controls, check the output, and correct anything that does not comply.
The process should be repeatable.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, visual design, architectural visualization, real estate marketing, 3D visualization, motion design, digital imaging, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showing excellent design taste, craft, and attention to detail.
- Professional experience using generative AI for image production.
- Experience creating AI-generated or AI-assisted video.
- Advanced Runway experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Photoshop skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, photography, art direction, and brand systems.
- Experience designing for paid social and digital advertising.
- Comfortable moving between traditional design, AI generation, compositing, image manipulation, and video.
- Able to manage multiple brands without making them all look the same.
- Detail-oriented and able to QA your own work before delivery.
- Able to work independently, manage your own schedule, and reliably meet deadlines in an async environment.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, Motion Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
What We Want to See
Please send a portfolio that shows more than a collection of AI-generated images.
We want to see finished work and understand what you actually contributed to it.
We’re especially interested in:
- Commercial real estate or architectural work
- Drone and aerial property imagery
- AI-generated and AI-assisted images
- AI-generated video
- Before-and-after examples
- Original source imagery alongside the finished result
- Examples where you had to maintain the structure or accuracy of the original subject
- Strong Photoshop and compositing work
- Branding and campaign work
- Projects where AI was one part of a larger creative workflow
The Person We’re Looking For
You’re probably a good fit if you’re the person who catches the details other people miss.
You notice when AI moved a window.
You notice when a parking lot changed.
You notice when a road suddenly goes somewhere it shouldn’t.
You notice when the architecture changes halfway through a video.
You notice when something looks impressive at first glance but falls apart when you actually look at it.
And most importantly, you know how to fix it.
We want someone with the eye of a senior designer who also knows how to push AI tools hard without letting the tools dictate the final result.
AI is part of your toolkit. It isn’t your entire skill set.
