2D Generalist Artist

We are currently looking for a 2D Generalist Artist who shares our core company values:

We are looking for a professional for the role that requires:

• Full-time job;

• Office-based in Kyiv.

   

Main responsibilities:

• Creating a wide range of 2D assets and illustrations for mobile games;
• Drawing in-game objects, props, environment elements, maps, backgrounds, rewards, resources, and other gameplay content;
• Creating illustrations and decorative graphic elements for game interfaces;
• Developing textures and supporting visual content for 2D and 3D assets;
• Adapting concepts and references into polished, production-ready assets;
• Preparing and optimizing assets for integration into the game engine;
• Working with layouts, references, and visual materials in Figma;
• Refining existing artwork and maintaining a consistent visual style across the project;
• Collaborating with the Art Lead, UI/UX Designers, Concept Artists, 3D Artists, Animators, and Developers.

• Using AI-assisted tools where appropriate to speed up exploration and production while maintaining artistic quality and consistency.

   

Our ideal candidate:

• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience;
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of 2D game assets and illustrations;
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or similar graphic editors such as Krita or Procreate;
• Strong drawing and rendering skills;
• Ability to work in different art styles and follow an established visual direction;
• Understanding of color theory, composition, perspective, lighting, shape language, and visual hierarchy;
• Ability to create clear and readable artwork for mobile screens;
• Experience creating game illustrations, props, environment elements, maps, backgrounds, textures, or interface graphics;
• Understanding of the mobile game production pipeline and technical limitations of mobile platforms;
• Ability to prepare clean, structured, and production-ready files;
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain visual consistency;
• Ability to estimate tasks, meet deadlines, and work constructively with feedback;
• Basic knowledge of Unity or another game engine;

• Basic understanding of 3D graphics and the ability to use 3D tools as part of the 2D production workflow would be an advantage.
