Chief Technology Officer (Web3)

We're looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical strategy and execution of our Web3 products. You'll own the engineering organization, shape the technology roadmap, scale the team, and work closely with founders and product leadership to build secure, high-performance blockchain solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on engineering expertise, proven leadership experience, and a strong commercial background in Web3. This is a long-term opportunity, specifically open to Ukrainian professionals living abroad.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's technical vision and architecture.
• Lead and grow the engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Drive the development and delivery of scalable Web3 products.
• Design secure and reliable blockchain infrastructure and smart contract architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to align technical execution with business goals.
• Establish engineering best practices, development processes, and code quality standards.
• Oversee infrastructure, security, DevOps, and system scalability.
• Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and implement innovations where appropriate.
• Manage technical risks and ensure product reliability and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience as CTO, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director or Technical Lead.
• Commercial experience in Web3, Blockchain, Crypto, or DeFi products is required.
• Strong software engineering background with modern backend technologies.
• Experience designing distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain ecosystems such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, or similar.
• Experience with smart contracts (Solidity or Rust is a strong advantage).
• Deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure, wallets, RPC nodes, consensus mechanisms, and security principles.
• Experience managing engineering teams of 10+ people.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
