About the Role: 

We're looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys building, launching, testing, and optimizing growth initiatives from the ground up.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and Product Analytics. You'll work closely with Product, Education, Community, and Leadership to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement across our AI education products.


What You'll Do: 

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new courses, learning programs, product launches, and growth initiatives.
  • Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for different audiences.
  • Partner closely with Product, Community, Sales, Education, and Leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Launch new products and features while continuously optimizing adoption and customer engagement.

 

User Acquisition & Growth

  • Own initiatives that drive user acquisition across organic, paid, partnerships, community, creator, and referral channels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and customer conversion throughout the funnel.
  • Design, launch, and iterate on growth experiments to continuously improve performance.
  • Partner with Product to improve activation and product adoption.

 

Retention & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own the company-wide lifecycle marketing strategy.
  • Build onboarding, activation, retention, engagement, re-engagement, and win-back customer journeys.
  • Create and optimize automated lifecycle campaigns across multiple customer segments.
  • Improve customer retention, engagement, and long-term product adoption through data-driven lifecycle initiatives.

 

Email Marketing

  • Own and optimize email marketing strategy across the customer lifecycle.
  • Build automated email sequences and nurture campaigns.
  • Improve open rates, click-through rates, activation, retention, and conversion metrics.
  • Continuously test messaging, segmentation, and campaign performance.

 

Product Analytics & Experimentation

  • Monitor user behavior across the customer journey.
  • Define hypotheses and run experiments to improve acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement.
  • Partner with Product to identify friction points and optimize user experience.
  • Use analytics to inform product and marketing decisions.

 

Campaign Management

  • Plan, launch, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across owned and partner channels.
  • Coordinate product launches, educational initiatives, webinars, community campaigns, and growth experiments.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.

 

Market & Customer Insights

  • Research customer behavior, market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Translate customer insights into positioning, messaging, lifecycle improvements, and growth opportunities.

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, CRM Marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven experience driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and customer engagement.
  • Strong experience building and executing GTM strategies.
  • Experience working with EdTech platforms, SaaS products, AI startups, or product-led technology companies.
  • Hands-on experience building lifecycle marketing programs and customer journeys.
  • Proven experience owning email marketing campaigns and marketing automation.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle, retention strategies, segmentation, and growth frameworks.
  • Experience running A/B tests and growth experiments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using product and marketing data to drive decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Customer.io, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar.
  • Experience working with product analytics platforms such as PostHog, GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and accountability.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in AI, EdTech, SaaS, creator economy, investment, startup ecosystem, or community-driven businesses.
  • Experience with product-led growth (PLG) or consumer product growth.
  • Experience with influencer or creator marketing programs.
  • Experience launching educational products, online courses, marketplaces, communities, or platform businesses.
  • Previous startup experience in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Canva AI, or similar tools in daily workflows.

Within your first months, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of GenAI.Works, products, audiences, and growth engines.
  • Audit the current acquisition, activation, and retention funnel and identify the biggest growth opportunities.
  • Build scalable lifecycle marketing and customer journey processes.
  • Improve onboarding, activation, retention, and email marketing performance.
  • Launch and optimize growth experiments that directly improve product adoption, engagement, and business growth.
  • Become a trusted partner across Product, Community, Education, and Leadership teams, using data to drive growth decisions.
