Content Manager (SEO copywriting)
Come Back Agency is a recruitment agency that helps IT companies grow their teams with the right people. Right now we are looking for a Content Manager for our client - SoftDoes.
Soft Does is an IT company whose services are used by businesses across the US, including non-technical ones. The company is scaling its website content: SEO-optimized service pages are already live, with more pages, technology descriptions and blog content planned.
You will work in tandem with the company's current Content Manager, who will onboard you, set priorities and review your work. The workflow is self-managed and result-oriented: you pick tasks from the internal management tool and own them end to end.
About the Role
Your main focus will be on creating and managing website content. You will write, edit, and optimize SEO-focused content, then publish it in the CMS using ready-made templates. Most of your work will involve writing and editing texts, while the remaining time will be spent formatting pages, the visual part, and managing content within the CMS platform.
What You'll Do
- Create SEO-optimized texts following the established content structure (we work in Surfer SEO)
- Edit and rework AI-generated drafts: remove cliches, add uniqueness, adapt the text to our structure
- Create and fill service pages in the CMS using templates - with high attention to detail
- Work with keywords and make sure every page is optimized for Google and AI search
- Use AI tools (e.g., Gemini) for research and information gathering
- Manage your own task flow in the internal management tool
- Search for, generate (AI) and basic image editing for pages or texts (if necessary)
Over time - additional content tasks: blogs, outreach articles, new page types (technology pages, etc.)
What We're Looking For
- 6+ months of experience as a Content Manager, Copywriter, SEO Copywriter or Content Creator with a focus on texts (not graphic or video content creation)
- Hands-on experience with any CMS (WordPress, Shopify or similar - university or internship experience also counts)
- Confident use of AI tools for content beyond ChatGPT: you write detailed prompts and critically edit the output instead of copy-pasting it
- Understanding of SEO basics and keyword work (e.g., Google Keyword Planner or similar tools)
- English B1 - enough to read and edit texts
- Attention to detail, self-management, and a result-oriented approach
- Interest in IT topics and informational content
Nice to Have
- Experience with Surfer SEO or similar SEO content platforms
- Experience creating content for the US market
- Familiarity with Google Search Console
- Experience writing content for tech / IT companies
