Senior Spine Animator

We are hiring a Senior Spine Animator for a product-focused gaming company creating stylized real-time gaming experiences.

We're looking for an experienced 2D Spine Animator with strong keyframe animation skills and hands-on game production experience to create high-quality character and prop animations for real-time gameplay.

Responsibilities

• Create expressive character, prop, and gameplay animations in Spine.
• Build clean, reusable, production-ready Spine rigs.
• Produce high-quality animation from rigging through final polish and export.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, developers, and animation leads.
• Optimize assets for Unity and real-time game pipelines.
• Maintain organized project files and follow production workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Spine animation experience in games.
• Expert knowledge of Spine, including rigging and animation workflows.
• Strong understanding of posing, timing, weight, acting, secondary motion, and character performance.
• Experience with export, optimization, and integration into game engines.
• Experience working in cross-functional game development teams.
• Strong communication skills.
• English, Ukrainian, or Mandarin proficiency.

Mandatory

• Portfolio demonstrating Spine animation work for gambling, casino, poker, or similar gaming products.
• Verified commercial experience in the gambling industry is required. Candidates without proven gambling experience will not be considered.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unity pipelines.
• Photoshop or other digital art tools.
• Experience with VFX, video editing, or frame-by-frame animation.
• Ability to create storyboards or pose sketches.
