About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead BetVam’s financial function during one of the company’s most exciting growth stages.

As CFO, you will be responsible for building and managing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, supporting business growth, and establishing scalable financial processes. You will work closely with executive leadership, external partners, regulators, and key stakeholders to drive sound financial decision-making while maintaining full compliance within the regulated iGaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
• Build and optimize financial processes, internal controls, and reporting standards.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury, and working capital.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive management and shareholders.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with Ukrainian accounting standards and applicable regulations.
• Manage tax planning, statutory reporting, audits, and relationships with external auditors.
• Support fundraising activities, banking relationships, and financial negotiations with partners.
• Analyze financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support commercial, operational, and product decisions.
• Collaborate with Payments, Operations, Product, Legal, Compliance, and HR teams to support business growth.
• Build, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Finance, including senior leadership positions.
• Previous experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
• Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial analysis.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and corporate finance.
• Experience building finance functions and processes in fast-growing or startup environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in the iGaming, Betting, FinTech, Payments, or Technology industries.
• Experience working with licensed or regulated businesses.
• Knowledge of payment systems, PSPs, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with ERP implementation and financial automation.
• ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience supporting fundraising or investor relations.
