Slot Game Designer (iGaming)

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Slot Game Designer to design engaging and innovative iGaming slot games that deliver exceptional player experiences. You will be responsible for defining game mechanics, features, progression, and player flow while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Mathematicians, Artists, Animators, and Developers throughout the entire game development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of slot mechanics, player psychology, market trends, and game balancing, with the ability to transform ideas into clear game specifications and engaging gameplay.

What You'll Do

• Design innovative slot game concepts, mechanics, features, and gameplay loops from concept to launch.
• Create and maintain Game Design Documents (GDDs), feature specifications, wireframes, and gameplay flows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define game themes, target audiences, and unique selling points.
• Work closely with Mathematicians to ensure mechanics align with the mathematical model, RTP, volatility, and player experience.
• Partner with Artists, Animators, Sound Designers, and Developers to ensure gameplay and visual execution align with the game vision.
• Balance game features based on player experience, commercial goals, and technical constraints.
• Research market trends, competitor games, and player preferences to identify new feature opportunities.
• Support game production by reviewing implementations, validating feature behavior, and ensuring the final product matches the original design.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience as a Game Designer within the iGaming industry.
• Strong understanding of slot mechanics, paylines, clusters, cascades, free spins, bonus games, RTP, volatility, and player psychology.
• Experience creating Game Design Documents, wireframes, and gameplay specifications.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly to artists, developers, mathematicians, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking with a passion for designing fun, engaging, and commercially successful games.
• Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.
