PR Manager

We are looking for a PR Manager with a strong interest or background in IT, fintech, or banking to lead our public relations efforts. You will be the voice of Bankstore.ai to the media and the industry — crafting stories around our technology, financial products, and market impact. The ideal candidate understands the fintech and banking ecosystem, speaks the language of both tech and finance, and knows how to position a digital-first financial platform to the press, analysts, and the broader industry.

Bankstore.ai is a fast-growing fintech platform reimagining how financial products are discovered, compared, and accessed. We operate at the intersection of technology, data, and banking — building a transparent marketplace that connects consumers and businesses with the right financial solutions. Our work touches core areas of digital banking infrastructure, API-driven financial services, and regulatory technology (RegTech).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies that position Bankstore.ai as a thought leader in fintech, digital banking, and financial technology
• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, executive bylines, and commentary on trends in open banking, embedded finance, and financial APIs
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, analysts, and editors covering fintech, banking technology, and enterprise IT
• Monitor news across the fintech and banking tech landscape; identify reactive PR opportunities tied to regulatory changes, industry shifts, or competitive moves
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to translate technical product updates into compelling, media-ready narratives
• Manage speaking opportunity submissions for fintech conferences, banking summits, and tech industry events
• Support crisis and reputation management, particularly around data security, compliance, or product incidents
• Track PR metrics and share of voice versus fintech competitors; report on coverage impact and brand sentiment

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in PR, communications, or journalism — ideally within fintech, banking, IT, or financial services
• Working knowledge of the fintech and banking technology landscape: digital payments, open banking, neobanks, lending platforms, or related areas
• Strong written English with the ability to translate complex financial or technical topics into clear, engaging content
• Familiarity with media outreach and monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Prowly, or similar)
• Comfortable engaging with technical and product teams to extract story-worthy insights
• Understanding of financial regulation basics (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, AML/KYC) is a plus
• Experience covering or communicating about B2B SaaS, banking APIs, or enterprise IT is a strong advantage
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment with minimal supervision
