We are looking for a Junior Operations Specialist to join our expanding Operations Team for our key partner in Canada - a leading logistics provider. This role is a fantastic launchpad into Cloud and DevOps engineering. You will play a crucial role in providing 24/7 monitoring and operational support to ensure the seamless functionality, reliability, and scalability of high-load systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across Azure cloud services, applications, and APIs.
  • Track and identify anomalies in real-time using Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk, and Sentinel following defined instructions.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents efficiently according to pre-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Triage and escalate complex, non-standard issues to senior engineering teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, workflows, and incident logs.
  • Theoretical knowledge or hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Fundamentals level or similar coursework).
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs) and Windows.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Monitor, Application Insights) is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of incident management processes and ticketing tools (Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • English level B1+ (strong written communication is essential for ticketing and documentation).
  • Readiness to work in shifts (including night shifts and weekends to cover 24/7 operations).
