Community / Communications Manager (Reddit, Medium, Facebook)

About us

Jett Develops is a software development company. We're extending our digital presence across Medium, Reddit, and Facebook - and we're looking for a Community & Communications Manager to help us build it and run the day-to-day publishing and engagement.

What you'll do

• Medium: publish, format, and schedule our articles on our Medium publication - adding tags, images, and links, keeping the publication organized, and responding to comments from readers (we provide the content).
• Reddit and Facebook: engage daily - comment, reply, and join relevant discussions, following each community's rules.
• Distribute and cross-post our published Medium articles to relevant communities and discussions.
• Manage communication with our audience across Medium and Reddit: respond to comments and messages, and keep conversations active and friendly.
• Monitor communities and topics for relevant opportunities, and flag them to the team.
• Track engagement and report on what's working, keeping our tone of voice consistent across channels.

Requirements

• Written English at B1+ - you'll write short comments and replies (AI tools are fine).
• Good understanding of how online communities work (Reddit etiquette is a big plus).
• Comfortable working with publishing tools (Medium or similar CMS) - formatting posts, adding images and tags.
• Reliable, consistent, and self-organized - daily engagement is the heart of this role.

Nice to have

• 1+ year in community management, communications, SMM, or a similar role.
• Active Reddit account with karma; experience with Facebook groups or Medium publications.
• Interest in tech, software, or startups.
• Basic familiarity with content/scheduling tools.

This role is about communication, community, and publishing - not writing articles. Our team creates the content; you publish it well on Medium, keep the conversations alive, and engage with our audience on Reddit and beyond.
