SMM Specialist
The Bit Spilka Charitable Foundation is looking for a Content & Communications Manager to help tell the story of our work and grow our presence across social media and digital platforms.
This role blends writing, social media, visual content, human stories, and project outcomes. We're looking for someone who doesn't just produce posts, but knows how to find meaning, spot a strong story, and turn the foundation's work into communication that feels clear, alive, and valuable to our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the foundation’s social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram, and other relevant platforms;
- Create monthly content plans and organize content publishing across different platforms;
- Develop new content formats and rubrics to increase audience engagement;
- Create content from idea to publication: concepts, copy, visuals, short videos, and final publishing;
- Write content for social media: posts, Stories, short video scripts, and storytelling materials;
- Collect information about the foundation’s projects and turn it into engaging social media content;
- Create photo and video content, including shooting and editing short-form videos (Reels, Stories, Shorts);
- Adapt content for different platforms and audiences;
- Work with Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools to create visual materials;
- Use AI tools to improve content creation processes: generate ideas, create drafts, improve texts, develop visual concepts, and optimize workflows;
- Analyze social media performance, track content results, and provide recommendations for improvement;
- Follow social media trends and identify new opportunities for content growth.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in SMM, Content Creation, Digital Marketing, or similar roles;
- Experience independently managing social media channels;
- Strong copywriting skills in Ukrainian;
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to turn ideas and information into engaging content;
- Experience creating content from concept to final publication;
- Hands-on experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Telegram;
- Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts);
- Basic photo and video editing skills;
- Experience working with Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools;
- Understanding of social media analytics and ability to evaluate content performance;
- Practical experience using AI tools for content creation (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Claude, or similar);
- English proficiency at Intermediate level or above;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and take ownership of content projects.

- Experience working with charitable, social, or nonprofit projects;
- Experience creating fundraising or impact-driven content;
- Experience working with international audiences;
- Experience with Meta Ads;
- Experience collaborating with influencers;
- Willingness to travel for content gathering.
