Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

PaySpace Magazine Global is an expert digital media about innovative financial technologies. It covers fintech, retail, e-commerce, blockchain, cryptocurrency, banks, and startups. 

We are scaling and looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to build and lead the financial function across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale the finance function, including processes, controls, and team development
• Conduct audit of financial processes and drive efficiency through automation
• Own consolidated financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting across all legal entities
• Manage and optimize cash flow, including multi-currency and cryptocurrency operations
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and improve financial performance
• Oversee settlements with partners and clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team
• Establish and enhance management accounting to support strategic decision-making
• Lead international tax planning and ensure compliance across jurisdictions
• Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, and financial regulators

Requirements:
Education & experience

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in fintech, payments, or a regulated financial environment (strong advantage)
• Proven experience managing finance operations across multiple jurisdictions (Europe focus)
• Hands-on experience with IFRS reporting and financial consolidation
• Experience with audits (tax, financial, regulatory)
• Experience implementing or improving financial systems and automation

• Strong stakeholder management (banks, regulators, partners)
