Community / Social Media Manager
HERO ELEMENTS is a lifestyle brand built for high-performing entrepreneurs, by people who are ones themselves. We're building a community that won't just support the brand, it will become the whole thing. We're looking for the person who will be participating in its creation from the ground up: the one talking to our people every day, making them feel seen, and slowly turning an audience into a room full of regulars.
This is a front-of-house role. You'll be a recognizable face of the brand alongside our founder, showing up in comments, DMs, lives, and the occasional piece of content. You don't need to be the star. You need to be the person everyone feels like they already know.
What You’ll Do
- Talk to people all day, and like it. Reply to comments and DMs across our channels in a voice that sounds like a real person, never a brand account.
- Keep the conversation alive under our ads. Reply to every comment on our paid posts, answer the questions, handle the skeptics, and turn ad traffic into actual conversations.
- Go where our people already are. Comment on and start conversations under other relevant accounts and channels, so we get discovered through real engagement, not just our own posts.
- Run the community wherever it lives ([Discord / Circle / private group]): set the tone, keep it healthy, welcome new people, kill dead air.
- Program things for the community to do: AMAs, challenges, threads, and meetups.
- Publish our social content on a consistent schedule and jump on conversations and trends as they happen.
- Occasionally create content yourself, including on camera, and help shape what we make.
- Be the early-warning system: tell us what the community is asking for, complaining about, and excited about.
- Coordinate with creators and influencers we work with.
What We’re Looking For
- High energy and genuinely extroverted, the kind of person who starts conversations without being asked.
- Comfortable on camera and easy to like on it.
- Emotionally smart. You can read a room, defuse a tense thread, and tell warmth from try-hard.
- Disciplined. Publishing is relentless and you don't go quiet when the novelty wears off.
- Thick-skinned about criticism and trolls.
Actually curious about entrepreneurs and the grind they're in, because you'll be talking to them as a peer.
What We'd Love You to Bring
- Short-form writing that sounds human: hooks, captions, replies.
- Real fluency on [Instagram and TikTok], and ideally [X / LinkedIn] where founders also hang out.
- Reading engagement data well enough to know what to do more of, and reporting it back simply.
The compliance guardrails for supplements. You can't make health claims, and you'll be answering questions in DMs and comments where people try to get you to. We'll train you, but you have to take it seriously.
Nice to Have
- You've built or grown a community of your own before.
- Background in or around the creator economy, wellness, or DTC.
