We are looking for a Media Buyer / Facebook Ads Manager who can help us build Meta Ads into one of the core acquisition channels for ONU Health.
This is not a role for someone who simply βlaunches campaigns.β
We are looking for someone who understands creative testing, paid acquisition, performance data, funnels, and consumer psychology.
Role
This role is for a strong Meta Ads / Facebook Ads Manager / Media Buyer who wants to take ownership of paid acquisition for a fast-growing AI health startup.
You will be responsible for planning, launching, optimizing, and scaling paid campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, with a strong focus on testing creatives, hooks, audiences, landing flows, and app subscription funnels.
ONU Health operates at the intersection of health, AI, wearables, prevention, and consumer subscription products. This means our ads need to do more than generate clicks β they need to attract high-quality users who understand the value of prevention and are willing to engage with the product.
For us, paid ads are a system for learning:
- Which user pains are strongest
- Which hooks create curiosity
- Which creatives drive installs
- Which messages lead to activation
- Which audiences have the best retention
- Which campaigns bring paying users, not just cheap traffic
- How to scale without destroying unit economics
Key Responsibilities
- Launch, manage, and optimize paid campaigns on Meta Ads: Facebook and Instagram
- Build and improve campaign structures for app acquisition and subscription growth
- Test different audiences, creatives, hooks, angles, offers, and landing flows
- Optimize the funnel from impression β click β install β onboarding β activation β subscription
- Track and analyze key metrics: CPM, CTR, CPC, CPI, CPA, CAC, ROAS, retention, trial conversion, paywall conversion, and LTV
- Create and manage a structured creative testing system
- Work closely with the founder, product, and design team to develop high-performing ad creatives
- Write and test UGC-style scripts, ad hooks, captions, CTAs, and landing page angles
- Use AI tools to generate ad concepts, variations, scripts, and creative ideas
- Analyze competitors in health, wellness, AI, longevity, fitness, and preventive care
- Prepare weekly performance reports with clear conclusions:
- What worked
- What failed
- What we learned
- What we test next
- Manage budgets responsibly and scale winning campaigns without losing acquisition quality
- Continuously improve targeting, creative strategy, campaign structure, and funnel performance
What Weβre Looking For
- 2β4+ years of experience in media buying / paid social / performance marketing
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager
- Experience running campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
- Understanding of mobile app acquisition and subscription funnels
- Ability to optimize not only for clicks or installs, but for activation, retention, and revenue
- Strong knowledge of creative testing, UGC-style ads, hooks, angles, and direct response marketing
- Analytical mindset and ability to make decisions based on data
- Experience with A/B testing creatives, audiences, copy, CTAs, and landing pages
- Understanding of CAC, ROAS, LTV, CPI, CPA, CTR, CPM, and conversion rates
- Ability to work fast, independently, and without waiting for perfect instructions
- Startup mindset: ownership, speed, testing, learning, and iteration
- Careful attitude toward budget β treating company money as your own
Big Plus
- Experience with health, wellness, fitness, longevity, AI, or mobile apps
- Experience scaling B2C subscription products
- Experience with app tracking tools such as RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Firebase, or Amplitude
- Experience with Apple Search Ads or TikTok Ads
- Experience creating UGC scripts, video concepts, hooks, and creative briefs
- Experience working with AI creative tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Kling, Runway, HeyGen, CapCut, Canva, or similar
- Understanding of consumer psychology around sleep, stress, energy, weight, biomarkers, longevity, and preventive health
- Experience working with small budgets and fast testing cycles
- Experience building performance dashboards or structured reporting systems
