Chief Financial Officer (CFO) — Leading Cards

Role Overview

We are a fast-growing fintech company with over 8 years of experience building financial infrastructure for digital advertising businesses. We provide solutions that help media buyers and advertisers run campaigns efficiently and without interruptions.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function across multiple international entities. This role suits someone who combines high-level strategic thinking with a solid operational foundation in accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Reporting

• Partner with the CEO and COO to shape financial planning and business strategy
• Provide the board with monthly and annual financial analysis to guide strategic decisions
• Identify nd manage financial risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
• Manage multi-currency operations, treasury, and cash flow across jurisdictions

• Oversee legal entities across multiple countries (focus: Europe and the US)

   

Operations & Automation

• Own reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation logic
• Develop dashboards and automate ongoing data analysis for real-time visibility, in close collaboration with product and engineering teams
• Reduce manual workload across the finance function
• Work with banks, payment systems, auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel

Team Leadership

• Lead the finance team: set clear KPIs, run 1:1s, and follow through on professional development plans
• Establish efficient communication within the finance team and across other departments
• Build processes that work without constant hands-on involvement

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance, with a prior role as Head of Finance or CFO
• English C1+ — strong spoken and written communication is essential
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, reporting, and strategic planning across international entities
• Background in SaaS, fintech, or a high-growth tech company
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams (from hiring to personal development plans)
• Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities in finance operations
• Ability to build scalable systems and lead through change
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with AI tools in a finance context
• Experience building financial automations (workflows, dashboards, platform integrations)
