Haven are helping our partner, Ride The Wave hire a Paid Media & Creative Strategy Manager to take ownership of paid acquisition across Meta
 

Ride The Wave is a lead generation agency that has driven over $10M in revenue for 200+ home service businesses through authentic engagement in local Facebook Groups. Founded by a former landscaping company owner, RTW cracked the code of community-based marketing — generating qualified leads for roofers, painters, plumbers, landscapers, and other service businesses across the US.


Now, Ride The Wave is launching a brand-new Paid Facebook Ads division as a complement to its proven organic service. We're looking for the person who will own accounts from day one.

 

About this role

You'll start hands-on — running campaigns end-to-end for Ride The Wave and its clients. As the function grows, there will be room to take on more responsibility, build processes, and shape how the team scales.
 

Who we're looking for

A rare hybrid: strong creative mind + deep Meta Ads expertise + experience building processes inside an agency.

The ideal candidate has been internally promoted at a paid ads agency to a Head of Operations, Creative Director, or similar leadership role. You haven't just run ads — you've built the system: SOPs, creative frameworks, testing methodologies, and teams.

We're not looking for a "pure media buyer" or a "pure creative." We're looking for someone who understands that winning ads for local/B2B = creative + targeting, and can lead both sides.


What you'll do

At the start — Hands-on Ownership

  • Run end-to-end Meta Ads for Ride The Wave (own brand)
  • Launch and optimize Meta Ads campaigns for home service clients (roofing, painting, plumbing, landscaping, etc.)
  • Own creative strategy: develop hooks, angles, and offers tailored for home services (UGC-style, before/after, customer stories, local proof)
  • Brief creatives, build testing frameworks, iterate fast
  • Manage analytics: Meta Ads Manager, GA4, attribution, client reporting in business-friendly metrics (CPL, cost per booked job, ROAS)
  • Own budget management and lead generation KPIs

 


Must-have

  • 3+ years in a paid ads agency (managing multiple clients simultaneously is a must)
  • Deep expertise in Meta/Facebook Ads as the primary channel
  • Experience with home services, local businesses, or lead generation for service businesses
  • Strong creative mind — you can spot the difference between great and mediocre ads at the concept level, not just from metrics
  • Process-builder mindset — you've built SOPs, not just followed them
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English (you'll be working with US-based clients)
  • Solid grasp of direct-response and UGC-style creative (not polished brand work)

Nice-to-have

  • Hands-on experience briefing UGC creative
  • Hiring and mentorship experience
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, LSA, YouTube Ads as secondary channels
