Delivery director in performance marketing agency

We are looking for a Delivery Director (with strong financial ownership) to fully own delivery outcomes across the company β€” quality, predictability, and profitability.

This role is responsible for ensuring that our delivery is predictable, profitable, and scalable. You will own unit economics, operational systems, delivery consistency, and pod-level performance.

 

Your success is measured by business profitability, resource efficiency, and delivery reliability.

 

This is a hands-on leadership role working directly with the CEO and owning day-to-day business execution.

 

Areas of Impact

Delivery

  • Ensuring stable and reliable service for partners.
  • Creating predictable delivery outcomes across accounts and pods.
  • Aligning delivery capabilities with partner expectations.
  • Identifying delivery, capacity, and process risks early.
  • Preventing issues from turning into escalations.
  • Reducing disruptions and escalations over time.

     

Leadership 

  • Establishing clear ownership for Team Leads over results, people, and workload.
  • Building a consistent operating rhythm across pods.
  • Aligning delivery and management standards between teams.

 

Delivery Economics

  • Maintaining visibility and control over delivery margins at account and pod level.
  • Identifying delivery setups that put profitability at risk.
  • Making delivery decisions with financial impact in mind.

 

Expenses (Expense Hygiene)

  • Keeping delivery and operational expenses reasonable and intentional.
  • Identifying and removing unnecessary or low-value costs.
  • Supporting financial discipline in Team Lead decision-making.
  • Ensuring invoices are accurate and issued on time.
  • Keeping payments to the team and contractors predictable and smooth.
  • Preventing financial issues from affecting delivery or team focus.

 

Data and Systems

  • Building processes that remain stable as the business grows.
  • Maintaining a single, trusted source of truth for operations and finance (AirTable)
  • Ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and useful.
  • Providing clear operational visibility for the CEO.
  • Reducing reliance on manual, repetitive work. Introducing automation with a clear and practical impact.


 

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in operations, delivery, or agency leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of agency economics
  • Experience managing multi-team delivery structures
  • Data-driven decision maker
  • Financially literate operator
  • System builder, not firefighter
  • Comfortable holding leaders accountable
  • Strong english communicator with CEO-level mindset
