Who are we searching for?
We’re looking for a Senior Content Specialist who loves making complicated things feel simple. You’ll work closely with our founders, shape our voice, and own content from idea to outcome. This role is for someone who writes with clarity, handles feedback confidently, and cares deeply about quality.
Team & collaboration:
You’ll be a part of the Marketing team (Head of Marketing, Designer). And you’ll be working closely with the CEO, Business Development, Sales, Product teams, and VP of Operations. No direct people management, but full ownership of content quality and execution.
What are your responsibilities?
- Own Fuelfinance’s LinkedIn content and keep it consistently clear, accurate, and high quality.
- Create content that drives real results - impressions and MQLs.
- Write thoughtful, well-researched content that people actually stop to read.
- Deeply understand our audience, finance topics, and market trends so every post is relevant and credible.
- Manage the content calendar end-to-end and keep publishing consistently without waiting for instructions.
- Turn one strong idea into different formats: LinkedIn posts, newsletters, blog articles, collaborations, and more.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and the CEO to shape and improve our overall content direction.
- Regularly try new formats, angles, and hooks, and improve content based on what works.
- Collaborate with design to make sure visuals support the message and meet a high-quality bar.
What are the preferred requirements for the role?
Must-have:
- Strong writing skills in English: clear structure, precise language, and the ability to explain complex topics simply and accurately.
- 3+ years of experience in content roles (B2B preferred), with clear ownership and growth over time.
- Experience writing for an international audience.
- A strong portfolio with real examples of content you personally owned - including founder/executive or high-visibility content.
- Proven experience writing for founders, executives, or personal brands, including adapting to someone else’s voice.
- Consistent experience running LinkedIn content: clear cadence, workflow, and understanding the impact.
- Experience working with complex topics or products (SaaS, finance, operations, tech, analytics, or similar), where accuracy and depth matter.
- Strong research skills: you know how to dig into a topic, validate information, and simplify it without losing meaning.
- Ability to own content end-to-end: from idea and research to writing, publishing, and measuring results.
- Comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating fast.
- High level of ownership and resilience: you take responsibility for results and don’t fall apart when priorities or feedback change.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience writing for a US audience.
- Background in fintech or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn mechanics and how founder-led content grows over time.
- Experience connecting content to business outcomes (engagement, MQLs, SQLs, etc), not just output.
- Experience working in fast-moving startups with high standards and frequent feedback loops.
Reporting structure:
Report to the Head of Marketing.
Recruitment process:
- Portfolio check (please share it with us along with your CV)
- Recruiter interview
- Technical interview with the Head of Marketing
- Test task
- Culture fit interview with the VP of Operations
- Final interview with the CEO
Why work with us?
- Real ownership. Your content directly shapes our founder brand, market voice, and growth.
- Close work with founders. You’ll collaborate with the CEO and leadership team and see your ideas go live.
- High standards, real growth. You’ll sharpen your writing and thinking in a fast, feedback-rich environment.
- Meaningful topics. Writing about finance, SaaS, and real business problems.
- Room to grow. Clear path to broader content ownership as the company scales.
- Healthy flexibility. Flexible schedule, 18 paid vacation days, 10 paid sick days, and a supportive, low-ego team culture.
