Copywriter (UK business content)

Key responsibilities:
 

1. Case Studies (Primary Focus)

You will own the creation of high-impact case studies based on our internal playbook, working directly with the marketing manager. Your task is to take raw materials (product notes, interviews, screenshots, insights) and turn them into structured narratives:

  • Headline & hero summary;
  • Challenge → Solution → Results;
  • Clear business impact & metrics;
  • C-level-friendly storytelling;
  • UK-adapted tone of voice;
  • Crisp logic, zero fluff.
     

2. Website Content

You will help reshape our website by producing:

  • Service descriptions;
  • Value propositions;
  • Product transformation stories;
  • Landing page copy;
  • Messaging aligned with our ICP & buyer personas.
     

3. Research & Synthesis

You’ll work with fragmented inputs and turn them into strong, structured content:

  • Interviews with designers, product managers, engineers;
  • Notes, reports, UX findings;
  • Competitor research;
  • Market context.

What We Expect From You:
 

Professional Skills

  • Strong experience writing case studies, product stories, or strategic content in English (preferably UK).
  • Ability to turn complex inputs into a clear storyline and strong business narrative.
  • Understanding of UX, product design, and digital product development.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts simply and accurately.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience writing for C-level audiences (CEO, CPO, CTO, Head of Digital, Innovation).
  • Excellent command of structured writing (Challenge → Solution → Results).
     

Writing Style Requirements

You must be comfortable writing in a brand voice that is: bold, precise, confident, analytical, future-focused, business-first. No fluff. No marketing clichés. No over-complication.
 

Personal Qualities

  • Autonomous, self-managed, accountable.
  • Curious and strong at asking the right questions.
  • Fast iteration speed and comfort with feedback.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and incomplete information.
     

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in English-language copywriting (UK business content is a strong advantage).
  • Portfolio of structured, strategic writing (case studies, product narratives, UX-focused content).
  • Understanding of product design, UX, digital transformation, or SaaS/fintech is a big plus.
  • Experience working with marketing managers, designers, PMs, or product teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
     

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience writing for UK audiences.
  • Understanding of B2B tech, design terminology.
  • Understanding of ICP & buyer persona frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze raw interview notes or research and turn them into strong content.
