Content Supervisor / Writers Editor $$ Offline

We are seeking a Content Supervisor who can lead writers, uphold high editorial standards, and shape content that resonates with U.S. readers across finance, business, tech, and general-interest newsletters. This role requires strong editorial judgment, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to elevate texts beyond simple proofreading.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and guide writers, ensuring consistent quality across all accounts.
• Edit and approve content for clarity, structure, tone, and reader impact.
• Maintain and shape tone of voice—even without strict style guides.
• Ensure all texts match expectations of U.S. audiences (35–65+).
• Provide professional editorial feedback and help writers grow.
• Use AI tools to enhance drafts and improve workflow efficiency.
• Improve editorial processes while balancing speed and quality.

Must-Haves

• Experience managing writers or editorial teams.
• Hands-on experience with U.S. readership and understanding of their preferences.
• Background in journalism, news writing, or professional editorial work (not SEO/blog content).
• Strong confidence in your editorial judgment and ideas.
• Deep understanding of writing styles and how content influences audience perception.
• 5+ years in editing, proofreading, or newsroom/editorial leadership.
• Excellent English: grammar, pacing, tone, structure.
• Familiarity with AI content tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
