Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior accountant to join our team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in international companies, including experience in financial reporting and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Business Central, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of IFRS standards or US GAAP.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, as well as ACCA or similar certification, is preferred.
• English level Upper Intermediate.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
• Provide insights into financial performance and assist with economic forecasting and budgeting.
• Process the month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to finalise the monthly financials.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and assist in preparing for external audits.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Participate in external and internal audits.
• Prepare regulatory reports following legislation.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank, inventory, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain the accuracy of financial data.
• Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance reporting efficiency.
