Position Description

 

We are seeking a motivated and talented Content Writer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our content strategy. As a Content Writer at iBusiness Funding, you will be responsible for creating compelling and informative written content that resonates with our audience. This includes writing blog posts, articles, press releases, website copy, and other content across multiple platforms. You will work as part of our marketing team to ensure the messaging aligns with our brand and engages potential clients and partners. Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Write clear, engaging, and informative content for our digital channels, including social, website, and blog, and print collateral, including brochures and other collateral.
  • Conduct research to understand small business lending topics and trends, ensuring the content is accurate and relevant.
  • Assist in developing and executing content strategies to boost brand awareness and drive website traffic.
  • Optimize content for SEO and ensure it reaches the target audience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and product, to create content that supports business goals.
  • Help write creative and compelling content for taglines, brandbooks, product launches, external publishers, landing pages and more.
  • Help manage content calendars and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain a consistent voice and tone that aligns with iBusiness Funding's brand and values.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in content writing, ideally in the finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial technology services and related terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive development and communication of creative content ideas.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong research and editing abilities.
  • Proficiency in SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
