System Administrator AWS

📍 Location: Poland (full remote)
🌍 Company: A leading product company specializing in genealogy, DNA research, and human ancestry exploration.
 

We're looking for a System Administrator to strengthen our cloud infrastructure, security, and identity management frameworks. In this role, you'll be responsible for AWS workloads, IAM best practices, and system security, ensuring a scalable and secure IT environment.

🔹 What you’ll do
Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS workloads using Terraform.
• Maintain security, scalability, and compliance of cloud infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure processes and enforce security policies.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Administer and enhance Okta as an identity provider.
• Implement Okta Workflows to automate identity-related processes.
• Manage SSO, MFA, and user provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Integrate Okta with Active Directory and third-party services.

• Ensure compliance with IAM security best practices.

  System Administration & Security

• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), and domain services.
• Implement CIS benchmarks for macOS and Windows environments.
• Oversee patch management for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Configure RMM systems for device monitoring, automation, and security.

Networking

• Manage Cisco Meraki, Check Point firewalls, and network security.

• Implement Zero Trust security frameworks.

   

🔹 What you bring
✅ 3+ years of experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
✅ Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) and Terraform.
✅ Expertise in IAM, including Okta and Okta Workflows.
✅ Experience with Active Directory administration and cloud IDP integration.
✅ Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, macOS scripting).
✅ Experience in patch management for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
✅ Knowledge of CIS hardening guidelines for macOS & Windows.
✅ Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) systems.

🎯 Preferred:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Terraform Associate, or Okta Certified Administrator.
• 3+ years of proven expertise in cloud security, IAM, or network administration.
