Sysadmin

We need a sysadmin with at least 2 years of experience in managing server infrastructures to oversee our client’s render farm hardware.

Required Skills:

• Networking (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.)
• Linux and Windows server management
• Experience setting up servers from scratch
• Knowledge of security best practices
   

Also Great to Have:

• Experience managing servers that handle large file transfers and storage
• Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud setups
• Understanding of 3D rendering workflows
• Experience with AWS Thinkbox Deadline
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Experience working in startups
   

Soft Skills:

• Strong English communication (emails, chatting)
• Realistic task estimation
• Ability to work remotely and collaboratively
   

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain on-premises render farm servers, ensuring they can process and transfer large files effectively.
• Configure networking for integration with AWS cloud infrastructure, optimized for large file operations.
• Ensure server security and performance.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team for a hybrid setup.
