Key Responsibilities

As our B2B Marketing Manager, you will wear multiple hats and drive strategy across the funnel. Your core responsibilities include:
 

  • Lead PPC/SEO/CRO Efforts: Manage and coordinate our elite PPC, SEO, and CRO contractors/agency partners, ensuring their campaigns align with our overarching strategy and goals (no running off in reactive mode – you set the direction!). Monitor performance and guide optimizations that move the needle on quality lead generation.
     
  • Lifecycle Marketing Ownership: Own and continuously optimize the customer lifecycle – from onboarding new sign-ups, to increasing product adoption and retention, and re-engaging lapsed users. You’ll design onboarding flows, email campaigns, and in-app initiatives that improve activation and minimize churn, turning new users into happy long-term customers.
     
  • Marketing Automation & Data Research: Take charge of our marketing automation systems and product data analysis. Use tools like Amplitude and Customer.io to segment audiences, trigger campaigns based on user behavior, and research product usage data for insights. Your analytical insights will inform strategy – from identifying which features drive retention, to spotting opportunities for new campaigns.
     
  • Website & Content Management: Oversee our website and landing pages (built on WordPress) to ensure content is up-to-date, on-brand, and optimized for SEO and conversions. You’ll work on WordPress (experience here is a plus) to publish new content, run A/B tests for page improvements, and collaborate with content writers or designers as needed.
     

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

We’re searching for a well-rounded B2B marketer who can both strategize and execute. Key qualifications include:
 

  • Experience: Mid to senior-level experience (approximately 2-3+ years) in B2B marketing, preferably in a SaaS company or a marketing agency serving B2B clients. You’ve led growth or marketing initiatives and understand the nuances of marketing to business audiences.
     
  • Agency & Team Management: Proven ability to manage digital marketing agencies or external specialists (PPC, SEO, etc.). You know how to brief experts, set KPIs, and ensure outside contributors stay aligned with company goals. Leadership or project management experience in coordinating others is important.
     
  • Analytical & Strategic Mindset: You love diving into data and gleaning insights. Deep proficiency in marketing analytics and KPIs (CAC, LTV, conversion rates, funnel metrics) is expected. More importantly, you use data to drive strategic decisions – you can craft a long-term marketing plan and also adjust tactics based on what the numbers show.
     
  • Marketing Automation Savvy: Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (email automation, CRM integration, analytics platforms). Familiarity with tools like Amplitude (or similar product analytics), Customer.io (or similar email/SMS automation), and CRM systems will be a big advantage.

     

  • Bonus Skills: Experience with WordPress content management (for quick landing page edits) is a plus. Knowledge of CRO tools, A/B testing, copywriting, or design skills won’t hurt either!
