Automation QA Team Lead (Java/Kotlin) Offline

Team Leadership and Management:

Lead and manage a team of AQA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with overall QA strategies and organizational goals.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

Build a strong engineering team with common goals.

Quality Assurance Processes:

Establish quality metrics, performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to measure and track QA effectiveness.

Identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Automation service management:

Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to understand project automation requirements and scope.

Plan and prioritise automation activities, ensuring Automation service availability and resource allocation.

Define and control automation KPIs, provide transparent reporting.

Test Automation:

Evaluate, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and strategies.

Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with the team to create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

Monitor and analyze automated test results, report issues, and ensure their timely resolution.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to understand quality requirements and expectations.

Communicate QA progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, project managers, and senior management effectively.

Participate in project meetings, providing QA insights, recommendations, and updates

REQUIREMENTS

Positive and can-do approach

Profound understanding development patterns

Familiar in people management (motivation, growing, conflict solving)

Profound understand Automation KPI’s and process regulations

Profound understand GIT and development tools

4+ years of experience in Automation QA

2+ years in backend testing including extensive knowledge of API testing

Experienced with Kotlin/Java development

Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes tech

Profound understanding of test framework different layers including the importance and meaning of each one.

Profound understand automation infrastructure and tools

Very good verbal and written English level
