Senior Ruby Developer Offline

Requirements:

— Strong knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails(4/5);

— Object-oriented principles; Agile development; source code management tools (Git);

— Strong knowledge of internet, web, and development standards;

— A passion for developing robust, high-quality code;

— Database experience: SQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL;

— Background processing(sidekiq);

— Experience in building integration with 3-rd party services;

— Ability to write clean, reusable and tested code;

— Code testing(rspec/rswag etc...);

— Familiarity with shell environments;

— Familiarity with JavaScript;

— Intermediate spoken level of English and higher.

Will be a plus:

— Refactoring skills;

— NoSQL databases;

— Experience with Sinatra/Express etc.;

— Optimization SQL queries;

— Experience with ElasticSearch;

— Experience with GraphQL;

— Experience with AWS services;

— Experience with other programming languages;

Your role:

— Take part in discussions of requirements;

— Design development plan;

— Development and implementation of new functionality;

— Development of the integration with 3rd party services;

— Support and refactoring existing code.
