-  After that, we're implementing cart management, checkout flows, and order tracking as new MCP tools — turning search-only into a full commerce lifecycle.

In this role, you will play a key part in building and operating a secure, reliable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise to enhance our cloud environments and contribute to our DevOps initiatives.

Responsibilities
 

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure and services
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management through module development
• Configure and support Nginx for application deployment
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, or similar platforms
• Script automation tasks in Python and Bash to streamline operations
• Ensure best practices in AWS networking, VPC setup, and security compliance
• Work with AWS features such as WAFv2, SSM Parameter Store, and Secrets Manager
• Implement service health checks and conduct unit and integration testing for safe and efficient deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues with a strong ownership mindset
   

Requirements
 

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS Fargate, RDS, Lambda, MSK, and IAM
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and module development
• Experience in Nginx configuration and support
• Solid programming skills in Python and Bash scripting
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, or similar)
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, VPC configurations, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS WAFv2, SSM Parameter Store, and Secrets Manager
• Proven capability in implementing service health checks and conducting unit & integration tests
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a proactive ownership mindset
• Valid AWS certification

Position overview

You will join a large-scale engineering team with 500+ engineers contributing to the product globally. While the exact team size may vary, development is organized in cross-functional Agile teams, primarily following Scrum practices.
You will collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, product managers, DevOps, and UX designers to continuously improve the platform and deliver business value.

Responsibilities
 

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services.
• Implement high-performance, reliable, and secure APIs to support core marketplace functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, UX/UI, DevOps) to improve the customer journey.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across services.
• Integrate external services, including payment providers and transaction-heavy systems.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to best engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong background in backend development with PHP, preferably using Symfony.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and designing efficient data models.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is a plus), Kafka, caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with payment systems, PSP integrations, or transaction-heavy platforms is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proactive mindset with the ability to balance technical and business priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and constructively in an international environment.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher for daily communication.
