We’re looking for a Game Designer to join a new product startup where games are not just fun β€” they’re systems of rewards, motivation, and player psychology.

Our current focus is a simulator with a deep in-game economy. We combine best practices from both gamedev and iGaming to build a game that truly pulls players in.

    • Are experienced in designing level systems, missions, achievements, and player retention mechanics
    • Can analyze game metrics, user behavior, and retention funnels
    • Are confident in creating prototypes and scripts (using any tools you're comfortable with)
    • Understand gamification principles and player psychology
    • Have analytical thinking and can work with data to balance game systems
    • Have experience conducting feedback testing and implementing changes based on player input
    • Can clearly document ideas in user stories, GDDs, and other product docs

    • Speak English at an upper-intermediate level or higher

    What you’ll be doing:

    β€” Core gameplay & systems:

    • Design creative, engaging mechanics that blend financial simulation with fun gameplay
    • Build reward structures, level progression, and systems to keep players engaged long-term
    • Ensure game balance and fairness, while keeping gameplay highly replayable

    β€” Game economy & monetization:

    • Design and fine-tune in-game economic systems, virtual currencies, and reward loops

    • Collaborate with developers and data analysts to optimize pricing and user behavior

    β€” Player engagement & gamification:

    • Create engagement strategies rooted in psychology to boost player retention and lifetime value
    • Design competitive features like leaderboards, achievements, and daily quests
    • Optimize onboarding and tutorials to ensure a smooth, enjoyable learning curve

    β€” Prototyping & iteration:

    • Build prototypes and wireframes to validate new gameplay concepts
    • Use A/B testing and player feedback to improve features
    • Work closely with designers and developers to bring your ideas to life

    β€” Data-driven balancing:

    • Collaborate with analysts to monitor key engagement and retention metrics
    • Adjust rules, difficulty, and rewards based on player behavior
    • Identify potential drop-off points and reduce churn through gameplay improvements

    β€” Design standards & ethics:

    • Ensure compliance with regulations and principles of responsible gaming
    • Partner with legal teams to meet standards in iGaming and fintech-related features

    What we offer:
