Position Summary
We are seeking a resourceful and assertive Director of Sourcing & Procurement to drive the expansion of our supplier network and product portfolio. This role will be hands-on, involving cold outreach, relationship building, and account setup with suppliers across a wide range of product categories—from healthcare to hardware.
You’ll play a critical role in sourcing inventory through authorized channels, closeouts, liquidations, and secondary markets, ensuring continuity of supply, competitive pricing, and fast-moving SKUs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Development & Outreach
- Research, cold-call, and onboard new suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors across multiple verticals including medical, health & wellness, tools, hardware, and general merchandise.
- Open new accounts with authorized vendors, closeout sellers, and secondary market suppliers.
- Sourcing Strategy & Execution
- Identify sourcing opportunities across domestic and international fronts.
- Leverage industry relationships, trade shows, and digital platforms to unlock new supply pipelines.

- Negotiation & Procurement

- Verify vendor credentials, ensure product authenticity, and enforce documentation standards.
- Maintain up-to-date purchase records and contracts for audit and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development in any of the following sectors: healthcare, hardware, tools, CPG, or general merchandise
- Proven success in cold outreach, account opening, and supplier negotiation
- Strong understanding of diversified sourcing methods (authorized distribution, gray market, closeouts, etc.)
- Confident communicator with excellent phone, email, and follow-up skills
- Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- ERP or procurement software experience preferred
