You will be responsible for designing, building, and owning the complete, end-to-end solution from our high-performance cloud services (FastAPI) to a new, cross-platform desktop application (PyQt/PySide).

🎯 Mission of the Role
As Operations Manager, you will be the #2 at this company - not on paper, but for real. You'll own every operational system, every process, every meeting, every deadline, and the daily output of your direct reports.

Within 90 days, the founder should be able to step away from day-to-day operations entirely. You make that possible by actually owning it - not checking boxes and waiting to be told what to do next.

Requirements

🔹 3+ years managing operations for an Amazon FBA brand ($2M+ annual revenue)
🔹 Managed at least 3 remote team members directly
🔹 Advanced daily user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) — with demonstrable examples
🔹 English fluency — this is a writing-heavy role; communication must be crystal clear
🔹 Available during core hours: 9 AM–2 PM AST (UTC-4)
🔹 Built SOPs and operational systems from scratch
🔹 Proficient in Amazon Seller Central: inventory, IPI score, stranded inventory, FBA shipments
🔹 Proficient in Asana (or equivalent) and Excel/Google Sheets

⚠️ This role includes a 90-day probationary period with performance evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days.

Responsibilities

👥 Team Management
🔸 Directly manage inventory/ops lead, graphic designer, and PPC team
🔸 Run daily async standups, weekly team meetings, and weekly 1-on-1s
🔸 Build KPI frameworks for every role; hold people accountable
🔸 Handle all performance issues — late deliverables, unclear work, sub-standard output

📦 Inventory & Supply Chain
🔸 Review and approve all reorder recommendations before POs go to suppliers
🔸 Verify sales velocity, lead times, safety stock, and FBA receiving timelines
🔸 Own the shipment pipeline: supplier → freight → FBA inbound → 3PL coordination
🔸 Monitor sell-through rates, days of supply, and proactively flag stockout risks
🔸 Run a weekly inventory review covering stock levels, inbound status, and flags

📊 PPC Oversight
🔸 Run weekly PPC check-ins; collect reports, format data, flag anomalies
🔸 Own the operational rhythm around PPC — not the strategy itself

📋 Reporting
🔸 Deliver a weekly ops report: team performance, project status, inventory flags, vendor updates, financial summary, blockers
🔸 Goal: founder goes from checking 6 platforms daily to reading one report and having one 30-minute call per week

🗂️ Project Management
🔸 Own the entire Asana workspace: task creation, assignment, due dates, follow-up
🔸 Build templates for recurring workflows; maintain one clean dashboard
🔸 Nothing falls through the cracks — period

📝 SOPs & Systems
🔸 Document all core workflows: supply chain, product launch, listing updates, shipments
🔸 Build a company knowledge base so nothing lives only in someone's head
🔸 If you're writing SOPs manually without AI assistance, you're already behind

💰 Financial Operations
🔸 Final sign-off on all supplier invoices before payment
🔸 Manage software subscriptions, service providers, and recurring payments
🔸 Track payment schedules, flag unused tools, deliver a weekly financial summary

🤝 Vendors & Contractors
🔸 Serve as primary point of contact for all external consultants and contractors
🔸 Follow up aggressively on timelines; flag delays with options, not just problems

🔸 Lead the hiring process for new roles
