    This role goes beyond pure implementation. You will own backend architecture, drive technical decisions, and help shape a scalable, secure DocuSign-based platform with global impact.

    It is a rare opportunity to become a deep domain expert across the DocuSign ecosystem while working on enterprise-grade, real-world systems.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Own and design the overall backend architecture for DocuSign-based integrations and services
    • Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across Node.js / TypeScript services
    • Design and evolve serverless architectures on AWS (Lambda-first approach)
    • Make high-level technical decisions around:
      • service boundaries and APIs
      • data modeling and access patterns (DynamoDB)
      • synchronous vs asynchronous communication
    • Design secure, scalable OAuth2 / OIDC authentication and authorization flows
    • Develop integration strategy with DocuSign APIs, webhooks, and third-party systems
    • Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency

    • Review code and architecture decisions, provide technical guidance and mentorship

    Must-have technical skills:

    • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and backend application design

    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate has a strong background in building and deploying AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, and Azure Logic Apps. 

    In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI-driven applications that optimize business processes and drive innovation.

    • Design and Deploy AI Solutions: Build and deploy AI models and applications using Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI services.
    • Integrate AI into Business Workflows: Create and manage automated workflows by integrating AI capabilities into business processes using Azure Logic Apps.
